What is a hard launch?
A soft launch is the elbow in the corner of a Story, the second wine glass, the blurry laugh. A hard launch is making it official. We do that in hardcover: a year of your Stories and posts, printed in the order it happened, with the dates where you left them.
How does ordering through an AI assistant work?
You paste one sentence into your AI assistant (it works best with Meta Muse). It reads our guide, asks who the book is for, gathers photos from your own Instagram with your approval, and sends them to us in one go. You get a link where you choose photos, see the proof and order. You approve every step.
Which AI assistant do I need?
Fondly Told works best with Meta Muse, a free AI assistant from Meta that can read your own Instagram with your permission. If you don't have it yet, install it, connect your Instagram, then paste the sentence from this page.
Does it work with a personal Instagram account?
Yes. Personal accounts are supported, including your Stories archive. Only photos from your own account are used. We never pull images from anyone else.
What happens to my photos?
They are used to make your proof and your book, and nothing else. A book you never order is deleted 7 days after you last touch it; the files of a book you order are kept 60 days after delivery for reprints, then deleted. We do not run face recognition and we do not train anything on your photos.
Can I make it less cheeky?
Yes. Every book comes in two tones. Bold is the cobalt cover with a title like "hard launched." Classic is a modern love story: names, a quiet caption, blush or paper cloth. Your AI assistant will ask, and you can switch on the proof.
My Story photos are small. Will they print well?
Stories are about 1260 pixels wide, which suits a small portrait book (ours is 5 by 7 inches) or a card very nicely. If a photo is too small for a full page we print it smaller, like a photo-booth strip, and tell you first.
When will it arrive?
We are in private preview, so books are not shipping yet. Previews work today. When printing opens, a book will take about a week to reach you in the US.
